Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said the party forums gave the deserved answer to the destructive projects pushed by Albanian Premier Edi Rama and US Ambassador Yuri Kim that aim to stop the Democratic Party from enlisting for the upcoming mayoral elections of May 14. Berisha said the Democrats have grown stronger in their battle against the regime through the democratic revolution.

Asked about the request submitted to the Central Electoral Commission by Alibeaj’s group, Berisha said Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj are Edi Rama’s hostages, adding there is only one Democratic Party and it has the support of the majority of the membership.
